How do I post on the Forum?
Our forum is viewable to registered users only so please log in first.
- Once logged in, click on the ‘Forum’ link in the left column or from the main navigation
- Click on one of the main forum titles from the list (e.g Welcome, For Sale etc) to view the posts or to create a new topic
- To create a new topic – click on the ‘Create a new topic’, add a title and message and click the Submit button
- To reply to a post, select it and then add your note into the ‘Reply to:’ text box at the bottom of the page – if you do not see the reply box, you do not have the appropriate forum permissions so please contact the chairman in this case
How do I add a photo to my Forum Post?
- Once logged in, navigate to your post or create a new one
- Enter your message if need be in the text box
- To add a photo or image to your post, position the cursor where you want the image to be shown then click on the picture frame icon far right (‘Insert/edit image’)
- Then click on the camera icon next to ‘Source’ to locate the image on your device
- Select your image and click the button
- Add a description if required (not necessary) and leave the dimensions blank
- Once you are happy with your post, click the ‘Submit’ button and it will then display on the forum
How do I add my photo or avatar to my Profile?
- Once logged in, click on the link to ‘My Profile’ in the left hand column under ‘Members’ Area’
- You will then see your main Profile settings in the main screen area
- Click on ‘Change Profile Photo’ then ‘Select your file’ to add or change the smaller square image which will be your main profile image
- You can also change or add a cover image which is the larger image that shows in the background of your Profile page
How do I change my password?
- Once logged in, click on the link to ‘My Profile’ in the left hand column under ‘Members’ Area’
- Click on ‘Settings’ in the main Profile area
- Enter your new password in the boxes shown and click the ‘save changes’ button
Gallery Help
If you have a bunch of Koi related photos that you’d like to share with Members, you can add a new Gallery page. The main Gallery page (see link below) will show all galleries added by Members:
Instructions on how to add a Gallery:
- Log into the YSBKKS website with your user details
- Click on the ‘My Profile’ link on the left under ‘Members Area’
- In the middle area showing your Profile, click on the ‘Gallery’ link
- Click on any existing galleries shown to add or delete images or
- To create a new Gallery:
- Click on ‘Create a Gallery’!
- Give the gallery a SHORT title that makes sense (long titles may result in the gallery not displaying)
- Add a description if required
- Click the ‘create’ button
- Now click on the ‘Select files’ button and navigate to the photos on your device
- Select one or more photos then click the Add button which will add them to your gallery
- View the gallery in your Profile under ‘Gallery’ or on the main Gallery page
- You can add to the gallery, delete images or delete the whole gallery at any time
