The Yorkshire Section of the BKKS

The Yorkshire Section of the BKKS (YSBKKS) is one of many sections of the British Koi Keepers Society around the country. Based in Yorkshire, the aim of our club is to promote and encourage the hobby of Koi Keeping within the Yorkshire area and help fellow members where possible.

Annual Membership – just £20

We are a happy bunch of people with only the well-being of Koi in mind so if you would like to join us, please visit the ‘Join Our Club‘ page for further details.

During May to September, we meet at members’ ponds for a social get-together. These offer great opportunities for an exchange of ideas so why not come along and get to know a friendly bunch of people?

Club meetings are held at 7 pm on the first Tuesday of February, March, April, October and November at The Pastures Hotel.

Update for 2021

As our Club is an affiliated Section of the British Koi Keepers Society we are able to take advantage of their initiative to grant full membership of the BKKS to Section members on a complimentary basis. That means that all new and existing members will get BKKS membership for the year ending 31st January 2022. This is a trial for this year only so there is no guarantee that it will be rolled on in future years.

What better reason to join now; membership of a progressive koi club and the National body, all for £20?
