The Yorkshire Section of the BKKS
The Yorkshire Section of the BKKS (YSBKKS) is one of many sections of the British Koi Keepers Society around the country. Based in Yorkshire, the aim of our club is to promote and encourage the hobby of Koi Keeping within Yorkshire and surrounding counties and to help fellow members where possible.

YSBKKS Membership includes access to our Help and Advice WhatsApp group which is an active place for topical chat and one which new members’ have found to be worth the cost of membership without taking into account the other benefits of becoming a member.
During May to September we meet at members’ ponds for a social get-together. These offer great opportunities for an exchange of ideas so why not come along and get to know us better and make new friends?
Club meetings are held at 7 pm on the first Monday of February, March, April, October and November at The Hilltop Hotel on Sheffield Rd, Conisbrough, Doncaster, DN12 2AY
Update for 2024
After four year of complimentary membership of the British Koi Keepers Society by virtue of our club’s Section affiliation, members will now have to pay £17.00 p.a. for full BKKS membership as the BKKS has decided to withdraw this concession which was always intended as a trial for a year or two only. We our grateful to the BKKS for having given our members the opportunity to be part of the parent organisation.
